IWA Senior Program Manager

Mr. Aman Haile is an experienced international development professional with nearly a decade of field based program management expertise. Mr. Haile has an extensive track record of working on a variety of complex multi-sector projects, including local governance, rural development, participatory assessments, political empowerment as well as refugee and humanitarian response programming. In addition to managing the implementation of field based projects, Mr. Haile is experienced in providing technical assistance to programs funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), European Commission (EC), the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and a number of UN agencies.

Mr. Haile has implemented a number of international development projects in Afghanistan, Mozambique, Kenya, Eritrea and the U.S., as well as leading the design of a number of new program initiatives in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.

Mr. Haile speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Tigrigna (Eritrea) and Amharic (Ethiopia). Mr. Haile holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and is currently completing his MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding at Royal Roads University, Victoria, Canada.
