IWA in the 21st Century

At the dawn of the Twenty-First Century, it is clear that, although the Institute of World Affairs has accomplished a great deal from its origins as a Students' International Union to a non-governmental organization with a variety of applied conflict resolution activities spanning the globe, the 21st Century holds the possibility of greater conflict and human suffering as well as the potential for widespread conflict prevention, management and mitigation.  The Institute is continuing its commitment to the peaceful resolution of international conflict through several current projects outlined on the Training & Education page.
